Update your Kitchen without a Full Renovation.

Let’s face it. Kitchen Remodels are EXPENSIVE. Realistically, you are looking to invest $50k and up if you want to tear out your kitchen and start over. There are ways to achieve an updated space without the investment and disruption of a remodel. Here are a few that will make a big impact for a small dollar amount.

1. Change out your cabinet hardware, or add some if your cabinets don’t have any. Cabinet hardware is a small detail that makes a big difference in your kitchen.

2. Change out your light fixtures. Your light fixtures could be making your space look dated, so changing them out for something new and current will automatically freshen up your space.

3. Change the color of your walls.

4. Change the color of your cabinetry, whether it be all of the cabinetry, or just an island. Painting or refinishing cabinetry can be tricky. If you aren’t using a durable product and prepping the cabinet’s correctly, that new paint job won’t last. However, if your cabinets are in great shape you can update the look by giving them a new color for a fraction of the cost of new cabinets.

5. Update your furniture by changing out barstools and dining furniture.

6. Install a backsplash. This is a fun way to add color, texture, or pattern to your kitchen.

7. Change out your countertops. Stone countertops can be spendy, but if you aren’t ready for that investment, there are some great options at a fraction of the cost. Laminate countertops have greatly improved over the last decade and there are some really beautiful designs available.
