DESIGN CONSULTATION
Design services begin with a phone call or email consultation so I can learn about your project and schedule an In‑Home Consultation. During the in‑home visit, we’ll assess your space, discuss goals, and define the transformation you envision. I’ll share tailored ideas, answer your questions, and explain the full design process and what it’s like to work together.
After our meeting, you’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining recommended services, scope, timelines, and pricing—clear next steps to bring your project to life.
DESIGN CONCEPT
We begin every remodeling project with a comprehensive on-site visit to measure and photograph the space. During this consultation I learn about your lifestyle, functional needs, and personal style to ensure the design aligns with your vision. From there I develop initial design concepts: concept boards that include inspiration photography, space plan sketches, color and pattern palettes, and curated selections for cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, fixtures, furnishings, and accessories. These concept boards establish the overall direction and make sure your ideas are accurately interpreted before we move into detailed room plans, material selections, and construction documents. This process ensures a cohesive kitchen, bathroom, or whole-home remodel that improves functionality while reflecting your unique aesthetic.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
When we’ve finalized the concept, I’ll develop the full design and refine every detail to create a functional, beautiful space tailored to your lifestyle. This phase includes detailed floorplan development to optimize traffic flow, storage, and appliance placement for kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home remodels. I’ll specify materials, finishes, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and fixtures chosen for durability, aesthetics, and budget. You’ll receive a comprehensive design plan with elevations, layout drawings, and finish schedules so you can visualize the outcome. I’ll review selections with you, make any necessary revisions, and ensure you’re completely satisfied before requesting final approval and signoff. My goal is a cohesive, livable design that reflects your personal style and performs for everyday life.
DESIGN IMPLEMENT
Create the design plan we’ve developed together — or hand it to your contractor and let them execute it. When our work is complete, you’ll receive a comprehensive Design Packet along with a Spec Packet that includes everything needed to confidently bring the vision to life. Every packet is tailored to your project and typically contains:
Detailed floor plans and scaled elevations
Material and finish schedules (cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, paint)
Lighting and electrical layouts
Plumbing and fixture specifications
Cabinetry and built-in details with dimensions
Appliance recommendations and appliance rough-ins
Hardware and accessory selections
Custom millwork drawings and trim details
Universal construction notes for your contractor
Source lists with model numbers and purchasing info
Installation guidance and phasing notes
3D renderings and mood boards (when applicable)
